[edit] Introductions & guidelines

Hi Michael. We can use more thorough pages on a lot of science fiction writers, if there's anything you want to take on. Vicki Rosenzweig 15:31, 8 Sep 2003 (UTC)

Hi there, and welcome to the 'pedia. I noticed that on The Avengers (comic), you added some editorial remarks like "some info needed here". We prefer not to have these visible in the article, so it would be nice if you could enclose such comments in "<!-- ... -->, that way they are visible only when you edit the page. Thanks.—Eloquence 02:15, Sep 12, 2003 (UTC)

When you leave comments on article talk pages, it's considered polite to sign them so that people can see who said what without resorting to the edit history. Wikipedia has a shortcut to make this easier: three consecutive tildes (~~~) will be converted to your name and a link to your user page when you save your changes; four consecutive tildes will also include the date.

PS. The standard format for titles around here is to mark them with italics, not bold face - see Wikipedia:Manual of Style (titles)

[edit] Thanks & questions

Just wanted to say thanks for your help and your comments on list of Marvel Comics characters. Your comments about the disambiguation phrases made sense and I was convinced. --Lowellian 10:19, Dec 4, 2003 (UTC)

Would you object if The Avengers (comic) was moved to The Avengers (comics), with all the broken links fixed? --Lowellian 22:35, Dec 15, 2003 (UTC)

Nope, fine by me. I think I named it that because something else (Thor? I forget) used the singular. -mhr 23:36, 15 Dec 2003 (UTC)
I got it.... UtherSRG 23:42, 15 Dec 2003 (UTC)
