[edit] A7 Deletions
Hi Michael. The 'A7' is shorthand for one of the criteria for speedy deletion (see Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion). In particular, A7 is "Unremarkable people or groups. An article about a real person, group of people, band or club that does not assert the importance or significance of its subject. If the assertion is disputed or controversial, it should be taken to AFD instead".
If I deleted a page which you feel did not deserve to be deleted, please let me know, and restore it, and, if neccessary, put it up for AFD. Hope this helps. cheers. Cnwb 23:59, 1 January 2006 (UTC)
- I have restored the article (Kathleen Elsie Waddle). I would argue that she isn't quite notable enough, but I don't want to discourage you, seeing as you're relatively new, and have been doing some good solid work on New Zealand education articles. As the article currently stands, I don't know if it would make it through an AFD (Wikipedia:Articles for deletion), but I'm not going to nominate it, because I want you to have a chance to improve it first. Keep up the great work. Cnwb 00:28, 2 January 2006 (UTC)
