[edit] Katyn.ru
Could you explain on the talk page why this link is so POVed? As the page is in Russian, most editors cannot verify this.--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus Talk 19:19, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
- Well, I can in a few words tell about the site and its authors. The site is titled "The truth about Katyn. Independent research". The author is Sergey Strygin, an amateur researcher, and yes, he do not believe in the official version, BUT he is (in my opinion) an honest and open to discussion person (he is a member of a Russian Military Forum and I had read his posts). He did find many interesting things about Katyn. He personally had been in archives and photographs originals of the documents http://katyn.ru/index.php?go=Pages&in=view&id=26 http://katyn.ru/index.php?go=Pages&in=view&id=6 (please, sroll down) which he believes were faked. He even wants to spend his own money to pay for professional expertise of the documents in question. As far as I've seen the site is still mainly under construction.
