[edit] Nude Modeling
I don't know if it's true or not, but does anyone have any info on how Mickie James was a nude model prior to joining WWE? The reason I ask is because a friend of mine sent me a link that has a bunch of nude pics of her. OutRider2003 12:43, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
As I keep adding, but for some reason, people keep removing: In late 1999 or early 2000, Mickie posed nude for photographer R.B. Kane. One set of these photos was featured in the May 2000 issue of Leg Show magazine and the others were featured on RB's website. --CJ 08:00, 13 June 2006 (UTC)
yes she did pose nude. I have seen the pics it was for R.B. Cane but i am not sure what magizene they were in.--JayDub 23:24, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Proof she posed nude
Since some people with nothing better to do, keep deleting the info about Mickie posing nude for Leg World, proof is located here: [1] --CJ 07:51, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
Since others have disputed my previous proof (on an anonymous user's page of all places...), here is additional proof Mickie posed nude: click on the first thumbnail of the second row here [2] --CJ 08:47, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
It has been confirmed before that the girl in these pictures is not actually Mickey James but a girl who looks a lot like her, I am not sure if you guys hate Mickie James or if its something else but if that was really mickey james whe wouldn't have became a WWE superstar because the WWE had to fire a diva just because she was a striper for a magzine so you people can stop trying to ruin her reputation and on top of all that this site shouldn't contain any kind of nudity or links that contain nudity since many kids view it. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Killeronly001 (talk • contribs) 16:35, 5 December 2006 (UTC).
The guy she posed with is known to have been the boyfriend of Mickie James at the time. The odds of that being a look-alike seem fairly slim. Saying "it has been confirmed" doesn't mean anything without proof. I don't really agree with the whole "get involved with wrestling, take off your clothes for a magazine" thing, but there's no reason it shouldn't be mentioned. And regardless of what you think about nudity, Wikipedia has a lot of it. Calaschysm 23:10, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
Amen! I love Mickie!!! Nice pics. Thanks Emilos 17:41, 12 December 2006 (UTC)emilos
[edit] Mick and Chick Kick
Why is the Mick Kick and the Chick Kick both on Mickie's move list? They're the same move. I'm removing the Chick Kick. --Killswitch Engage 04:50, 19 March 2006 (UTC)Killswitch Engage
It's because she copied from Trish, who named her move the Chick Kick, and Mickie copied her and named
it the Mick Kick. She also copied Trish's Stratusfaction, though I don't know what she changed it to.
[edit] TNA miniskirt comment
I've removed the comment that says she wore miniskirts in all her matches because
A. what's the point? B. It's not true. In her mixed tag with Red she wore pants
[edit] WrestleMania 22
There's little mention about the real interesting story of 22 (as I saw it); that of the 'unusual' fan reaction towards James (mirrored in the main event when former favourite Cena was booed). As the article currently establishes, storylines had set James up to be a heel, with a collection of violent attacks, psychotic outbreaks and general stalker-esque tendancies towards fan-favourite Trish Stratus. They also teemed her up with the heels, Victoria and Michelle against the 'good girls.' But during the Mania match, the fans almost unanimously sided behind James, much to the evident surprise of ringside commentators. I've heard it suggested that this was a reaction to an introduction of any interesting character (and talented wrestler) into the women's area which has recently rolled along on little more than Wilson and Michelle's silicone, but whatever the reasons, I feel it deserves mention, especially since it seemed to be completely unanticipated by the WWE creative team. - Hayter 08:36, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
- Sometimes fans just turn on a wrestler in a town. There's really no reason as to why. If this was more of a trend against Trish, then I would be inclined to probably go more into detail. OsFan 14:14, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
I completely agree! (Fr3nZi3 18:11, 24 June 2006 (UTC))
I think the fans were just tired of Trish being champ and they wanted a new one
I think everyone saw how much better of a wrestler she was. Plus you gotta realize she became one of the most intriguing wrestlers in recent memory, men's or women's. It was a great storyline and even though I thought she was one of the best heels, I couldn't stop applauding her.
The sentiment Trish received was due to two things: 1. she held the belt for too long and hardly defended it and 2. Mickie's character was more of a tweener. She did alot of "messed up" stuff, but she was most certainly playing to the crowd. So there was a mix of sentiments in the crowd. Her character at the time, despite a little "psychotic" was one of the more popular characters at the time.

[edit] Mickie engaged to kenny??
—When did Mickie and Kenny get engaged? And what proff is there that they did?I would really like to know:)205.188.116.12 16:46, 14 August 2006 (UTC)Diana D.
Mickie's spoken about it a lot on her MySpace profile. --Steveweiser 20:43, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
It is mentioned it in this article [3] from Mickie's hometown newspaper, in this quote: "Sandra Knuckles, a real estate agent, recently sold a house to James and her fiance, Ken Doane, also a WWE wrestler, in King William County." --CJ 08:46, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] "Mickie-D-T"
Can someone please provide some proof that indeed Mickie's Spinning DDT is called the Mickie-DT! Otherwise I don't think it belongs on here. I am going to put up a citation notice--please don't delete it without adding a citation! --Fr3nZi3 15:25, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
Jim Ross has referred to her move many times over as the Mickie-DT, even though her WWE.com bio does not list the move. --Steveweiser 20:40, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
Are fair and good! PROVE IT!!!! You can't just say that Jim Ross calls it that you have to show proof like what I did with Lita. --Fr3nZi3 15:13, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] WikiProject: Louisville???
Why? Mickie James is from Richmond, Virginia...that's been very well documented. Someone please change that, please? If anything, she should be part of "Wikiproject: Richmond". ThePacMan 17:19, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
