I think that a picture of Kirschner under his Leatherface gimmick should be used, since he's more well known for it.

[edit] Not Dead

LOL turns out this was bogus all along http://slam.canoe.ca/Slam/Wrestling/2006/10/21/2087452.html --Shuyin05 21:08, 21 October 2006 (UTC)

No doubt. Wiki, get your crap together and trash this hoax.

[edit] Name spelling

The correct spelling of his name is Kirchner (as listed in the article), but the title of this page lists it as Kirschner.

To whoever "corrected" the article, the correct spelling is "Kirchner," not "Kirschner."

[edit] for reference, the old wrong stories

There are a bunch of old stories about Kirchner that are rightfully gone from the article but I wanted to make note of them so they don't come back.

  • There is a story that he got fired by the WWF for beating up Vince MacMahon. When he was in the WWF, a bunch of stories were spread that he was just plain crazy and dangerous.
  • There are stories that he was banned from working in north america because of what he did (the false accounts) in the WWFand worked in Japan because of that.
  • There is a story in Japan that he went crazy during a match and beat a fan half to death resulting in him going to prison. (the real story was that he got into a barfight and did a small amount of jail time in Japan).
  • There is the story that when he got out of prison in Japan, he went crazy in his first match back and almost killed his opponent. He then was supposedly fired and banned from Japanese wrestling (none of this is true).

I dont understand why, but Kirchner probably had more false stories about him floating around over the years than almost any other wrestler.
