Micromastia

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Micromastia is the medical term for a condition commonly known as small breasts in women. The specific symptoms of this supposed medical condition are sketchy, and the requirements for this illness are extremely vague. Although the method and means of diagnosis is unclear, plastic surgeons ensure that the treatment is well publicized.

The term usually refers to the total or near total lack of normal endocrine tissue in the breasts, not to a normal A cup.

Most women's mammary glands function well regardless of size.
