MicroSet

MicroSet is an electronic tool used in the repair and construction of mechanical clocks and watches. It’s primary uses are the measurement of rate to insure accuracy of the timepiece, and the measurement of beat error. Additional functions are included depending on the model. Computer software is available to record timepiece behavior over time.
MicroSet was originally developed by Mumford Micro Systems in California in 1997.
