Emacs
edit

MicroEMACS is a small emacs implementation originally written by Dave Conroy and further developed and maintained by Daniel Lawrence, which exists in many variations. One such variant was MicroGNUEmacs, which spawned mg, a further stripped-down editor. Many relationships to vi can also be found in MicroEMACS. The vi clone vile was even based around an older MicroEmacs.

MicroEMACS is the text editor used by Linus Torvalds [1].
