Micki Free is a professional musician.

He is best remembered as being a guitarist in the band Shalamar and being close friends with Prince.

His manner of dress and appearance during the late 80's was parodied in the Chappelle's Show sketch Charlie Murphy's True Hollywood Stories: Prince.
