Mick Weaver

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Mick Weaver, also known during the 1960s as Wynder K Frog, appeared as a studio musician playing the Hammond B3 organ and keyboards on several albums over a period of four decades, as well as releasing four solo albums. Weaver's work includes appearances on albums for Herbie Goins, Keef Hartley, Traffic (band), Joe Cocker, Eric Burdon, Frankie Miller, Roger Chapman, Taj Mahal, and others.

Some consider him to be one of British rock's unsung heroes of the Hammond B3 organ, a supreme master of the instrument, particularly in blues/funk modes.[citation needed] Though much of his work has been relatively low profile as a session musician, or on keyboards behind better known musicians, he has released three albums under his stage name.
