Mick Hume

Mick Hume (born 1959) is a British journalist and former organiser of the Revolutionary Communist Party. He was raised in Woking and educated at Manchester University where he read American Studies. Once editor of Living Marxism, he is now a columnist for The Times (London) and editor of Spiked, the online magazine.

Mick Hume was the editor of LM Magazine (which he launched, originally as Living Marxism, in 1988) until it was forced to close in 2000 after losing a libel suit brought by ITN over false claims that the magazine had made concerning inmates of Bosnia's Trnopolje camp.
