Michitaro Totsuka

Michitaro Totsuka (戸塚道太郎 Totsuka Michitarō?, 1890-04-211966-03-06) was a Vice Admiral in the Imperial Japanese Navy. He commanded the First Naval District at the end of World War II.

On 1945-08-28, at 1045, Admiral Totsuka formally surrendered the First Naval District to Rear Admiral Robert Carney, acting for Admiral Halsey, and Rear Admiral Oscar C. Badger II.
