Michigan's 9th congressional district
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Michigan's 9th Congressional District is contained within Oakland County in the southeast areas of the state of Michigan and encompasses most of the county.
Like Oakland County, the 9th Congressional District is predominantly Republican. Republican Joe Knollenberg has represented the 9th District in Congress since 1993. Prior to 1993, William Broomfield, also Republican, represented the area, which was then designated as the 18th Congressional District.
