Michelle Ye

Michelle Ye Xuan (born February 14, 1980 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China) is a Hong Kong television actress.

In 1999 Ye won Miss Chinese International competition. Soon after her beauty pageant victory, as is traditional for many Chinese beauty competition winners, Ye began a performing career in Hong Kong at TVB. Since then, she has had a number of leading roles in dramas such as Eternal Happiness, Triumph in the Skies, and Lost in the Chamber of Love.

Ye has also worked as a host and MC. In 2004 she was the on-site reporter for TVB at the Olympic Games in Athens. Her excellent command of Putonghua, also led to her being invited to be the MC at a special Mid-Autumn Evening broadcast on CCTV.

Michelle is excellently articulate in Mandarin, English and Cantonese. She also speaks French. She migrated to US at the age of 11. She is an extremely intelligent girl who was ranked first in her school and has won first place in ISEF (International Science and Engineering Fair)-Botany sector award in 1998. She is a scholarship sponsored student of Wellesley College, before terminating her studies to enter the entertainment circle.
