Michelle Salas (born 1989) is a Mexican teenage girl who is well known for allegedly being the daughter of international singer Luis Miguel.

Michelle Salas, according to her mother, grew up being told that Luis Miguel is her father. Salas grew up in a show business family, her great-grandmother being Silvia Pinal, her grandmother Silvia Pasquel and her aunt Alejandra Guzman. Supposedly, when she was in elementary school, Salas was pestered by fellow students who were told she was Luis Miguel's daughter. Salas apparently enjoys a great relationship, however, with the women on her mother's side of her family. Her supposed paternage, however, remains unchallenged and unproven. It is widely speculated that Salas is not the biological child of Luis Miguel.
Salas received notoriety when gossip magazines in Mexico obtained information about her alleged parental connection to Luis Miguel. She has been interviewed for several shows about the matter and appeared on tabloid magazines, which usually document her whereabouts with her friends and family.
Michelle Salas acknowledged that Luis Miguel is, in her opinion, a good singer, but she also admitted to not being a fan of her alleged biological father. Salas has maintained a rather contentious stance toward Luis Miguel and especially toward Miguel's fiancee, Mexican beauty queen/singer/actress Aracely Arambula. Salas' mother has frequently told the press that she will sue for paternity, and that she will certainly not remain with "arms crossed." Salas recently gave a dramatic and emotional press conference in Mexico. People En Espanol subsequently reported that Salas was quite attentive and cheerful until reporters inquired about Aracely Aramula's pregnancy with Luis Miguel's child. Salas fled the table in a fury of rage and then proceeded to lock herself in a nearby restroom. Eventually she was persuaded by family to come back out and speak to reporters again.
Salas has frequently made negative comments about Arambula to press. Everything from the Mexican beauty's appearance to her engagement to Luis Miguel has been spoken of disparagingly by Salas.
Known as quite a socializer in Mexico, Salas can frequently be spotted on Mexico City streets with an entourage and attends and gives many parties.
