Michael Senych

Michael Senych (born:September 24, 1926 Corbin, British Columbia died:March 27, 2002 Thorhild, Alberta) was a teacher and politician from Alberta, Canada.
Michael Senych attended the University of Alberta, and spent 26 years teaching.
Michael was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta in 1963 and for the Alberta Social Credit Party and spent two terms as a back bencher from 1963 to 1971. He was defeated in the 1971 Alberta general election by George Topolnisky in the Redwater-Andrew district.
Michael also served as Mayor of the Village of Thorhild from 1996 until his death in 2002.
Michael died in a motor vehicle accident.
