Michael Proctor (born October 3, 1980) is a footballer, currently playing for Hartlepool United. One unfortunate claim to fame occured whilst playing for Sunderland in 2003, in a 3 - 0 defeat to Charlton Athletic, where Proctor scored twice at the wrong end, with Stephen Wright scoring the other, also an own goal!
