Michael McIntyre

Michael McIntyre is a Conservative councillor for North Tyneside Council in the United Kingdom. He represents the Whitley Bay ward with Alison Austin and Margaret Marshall.

He stood as the Conservative Party candidate for Tynemouth in the 2005 General Election but lost to the Labour Party candidate, Alan Campbell, by over 4,000 votes. However, he succeeded in halfing Campbell's 2001 majority and is universally admired by his Conservative colleagues on the council for his sound judgment and inspirational leadership.
