Michael McIndoe (born December 2, 1979 in Edinburgh) is a Scottish professional footballer who is currently playing as a midfielder for Wolverhampton Wanderers on loan from Barnsley.

Michael started his professional career at Luton Town making his debut in 1998. He played 39 Games before signing on a free transfer to Hereford United in 2000.

In 2001 he signed for Yeovil Town making 91 appearances scoring 22 league goals before signing for Doncaster in 2003 where he played 122 games scoring 28 goals, including a memorable penalty against the mighty Arsenal in the Carling Cup making him a fan's favourite at doncaster. Michael wanted to play at a higher level, and signed for Derby on loan in the second half of the 2005-2006, before signing for the newly promoted Barnsley for a cool £125,000 in the pre-season of the 2006-2007 season. He netted the first goal that got Barnsley on their way to beating Hull City in August 2006.

Michael will be moving permanantly to Wolves in the January transfer window, after having a clause in his Barnsley contract to leave if he wanted to go elsewhere. The money from selling him will be more than the cost of buying him, but not a great deal more. Barnsley fans are saying "He was an Oakwell legend for all of 4 months" and will be consiederd a future Molineux Legend if his debut is anything to go by.
