Michael Keane

Michael Keane (born 29 December 1982 in Dublin) is an Irish footballer who currently plays for Rotherham in English League 1.

A left sided midfield player, Michael joined Rotherham in the 2004-05 season, from Hull City, and quickly showed his tenacity to endear himself to the supporters. Every willing to lend a hand in a defensive role, Michael is another of the whole hearted players who will play an important part in the club's attempt to He quickly established himself as an automatic choice in the Rotherham team and he was ever keen to get forward in support of the attack. But failed to get on the scoresheet - something he will look to rectify in 2006/07.

He has also played for Grimsby Town and Preston North End.
