Michael Karoli

Michael Karoli (April 29, 1948 – November 17, 2001) was a guitarist and founding member of the German Krautrock band Can.
He died in 2001 after a long battle with cancer, aged 53.
On the Can DVD, footage is shown in which Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist and solo artist John Frusciante pays tribute to the late Karoli at an awards ceremony in 2003.
