Michael Jakobsen (born January 2, 1986 is a Danish professional footballer who currently plays for Aalborg Boldspilklub in the Danish Superliga. He has played 48 youth national team matches for Denmark and, in May 2006, he was selected for the Denmark under-21 national team squad to compete at the UEFA U-21 Championship 2006.

He started his career in B 93 in the Danish 1st Division, and he played a number of games for the Danish youth national teams. The big Dutch team PSV Eindhoven spotted his talent and brought Jakobsen into their youth scheme in 2003. Having played only a single first team match for PSV, Michael Jacobsen left the club. He returned to Denmark for the second half of the Danish Superliga 2004-05 season, playing for Aalborg. Here he has proven to be a solid defender with good passing, and he has since been a consistent member of the first team.
