Michael Graydon

Air Chief Marshal Sir Michael James Graydon, GCB, CBE, ADC, was born in Kew, Surrey, on 24 October 1938. Sir Michael joined the Royal Air Force in January 1957 and was commissioned in 1959. Notably, he served as Officer Commanding, 11 Squadron and Air Officer Commanding in Chief Strike Command (5 April 1989 to 4 November 1992). He was then appointed to the Royal Air Force's senior post, Chief of the Air Staff. Air Chief Marshal Graydon is married to Lady Elizabeth Graydon.
