Michael Grant (boxer)

Michael Grant (born 1972) is a professional heavyweight boxer. He is 6' 7" (200.5 cm) tall.

Grant fought Andrew Golota. During the fight, Grant was knocked down and he from behind to score a knockout in the tenth round.

Later he fought a PPV match against current heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis in which Grant was knocked out after two rounds.

In later bouts Grant fought and lost to Jameel McCline and Dominick Guinn, both by knockout. Grant was once considered a top prospect, but was exposed as having a glass chin.

Despite Grant's height and sculpted physique, world renowned boxing trainer, Emmanuel Stewart, often commented that Grant did not have the fortitude and stamina to rise to the top levels of boxing. During many of Grant's fights, Stewart spoke unfavroably of Grant's performance and suggested he do the world of boxing a favor and retire.
