Michael David Murphy

Michael David Murphy is a photographer and writer based in San Francisco. His work has appeared in various publications and television programs, including the CBC, BBC 4, Wired, TechTV, Los Angeles Times, USA Today, and McSweeney's Internet Tendency.

He writes about photographs that were never taken on unphotographable.com, while (textually) exploring the practice of street photography on 2point8.

Murphy graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Oregon, and completed a Master of Fine Arts in English at the University of Washington.
