Michael Bauer

Michael Bauer is a character in the telenovela (Soap Opera) Fashion House. He's played by actor Robert Buckley.

Michael worked as a photgrapher at the House of Gianni, a fashion house located in Los Angeles. His best friend and confidante was Luke Gianni, the son of his boss, Maria Gianni.

He had a crush on model Nikki Clark, but knows that she is in love with William Chandler, who was the father of her unborn child. He's also been used as a pawn by Nikki's arch-enemy, Tania Ford.

Michael and Luke had tried, but unfortunately failed, to get Tania needed help for her addictions. They haven't given up hope for her, though.

For all his success as a photographer, Michael had hope that he could get Nikki away from William.

He strenously objected to Luke's plan to move to New York, and he still hoped that he and Michelle could get things together once again. He's shot photos of the new "Face of Gianni", Maria Gianni, herself.

However, Maria had decided to mix business with pleasure by seducing him. And Luke, unfortunately for him, walked in on Michael and Maria in flagrante delicto. He also discovered that he was the father of Nikki's child; and that Nikki had been pushed down her own steps in her apartment by Maria; basically killing the unborn child.

After Maria's death, a home invasion led by mobster Eddie Zarouvian led up to a gun fight which has Michael and Nikki fighting for their lives. Luke spotted them both near death on the floor. Michael underwent surgery and pulled through. Nikki was injured by the door flying open. Both recovered and they returned to their normal lives.
