Michał Waszyński (29 September 1904– 20 February 1965) was a very prolific film director in the 1930s. He directed 37 of the 147 films made in Poland in the 1930s, nearly one out of four. Later, in the United States, he was known as Michael Waszynski.
Among his most widely known films are:
- The Tramps (1939)

Some of these (including The Dybbuk) are in Yiddish, and record the cultural life of European Jewry before the Holocaust.
After World War II, he worked on several Hollywood films; his credits include associate producer of El Cid (1961) and The Quiet American (1958).
