Micah Johnson

Micah Johnson (born in Columbus, Georgia)is an American football linebacker for the University of Kentucky Wildcats.

While playing linebacker and running back for Ft. Campbell High School, Johnson was selected as the 2005 Kentucky Mr. Football. Rated the nation’s top inside linebacker by ESPN, he was also selected as a high school All-American by Parade magazine, Rivals.com, Scout.com, EA Sports, PrepStar and SuperPrep. Having played only two years at Ft. Campbell, his career totals there included 2,543 rushing yards, 46 touchdowns, and 293 tackles. He chose the University of Kentucky over football powerhouses Georgia and Notre Dame.

Johnson is contributing to the Kentucky defense at linebacker in his freshman season.
