Leave your "ambiguous" reference if you must, but the changes to Vizcaya from Villa Viscaya would be the proper thing to do. Again, as I have stated earlier, there is no reference on their own website as Villa Viscaya, and to propagate this error is incorrect, and should be restated as Vizcaya.

[edit] Vizcaya
First, please don't blank and page, even your talk page, it is much harder to go back to the history. Vizcaya should be a disambiguation page per Wiki policy when there is more than one reference. The Villa Vizcaya article is NOT the article on the museum, it is the article on the house. There is a link from there to the museum article and the above DAB page could have a link to the museum as well if you think that would be helpful. I have to run right now, but you really need to do some reading of the Wikipedia guidelines and policies before doing more editing. At present you are subject to being blocked for the WP:3RR, when you revert more than 3 times. I believe in your sincerity, but you really need to read the site guidlines before locking heads with folks. I'll try to help, if I can. Won't be online for about 45 min. You need to read about talk pages too, and how to sign with date and time, etc. Doc ♬ talk 16:49, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
- You must stop changing and blanking other editors'remarks and warnings from talk pages. Doc ♬ talk 20:09, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

I do not want the entire conversation in my talk archive thanks.
The issue is settled. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Miamitom (talk • contribs) 07:39, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
- I thought that this was over? Then why do you continue on with the Vizcaya talk page breaking up the page and not signing your post? Please stop and read the pointers below. Thanks. Doc ♬ talk 14:58, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Wikipedia
I'm glad if that issue is in your mind settled, however is you intend to continue editing here there are some things that will help your edits go more smoothly. For starters, you can sign your name to talk page posts using three tildes (~). If you use four, you can add a datestamp too which is preferred. Also the manual of style will give you a great deal of useful information on guidelines here. While you may prefer to not leave an "archive", the way Wikipedia works is to always leave one at the very least in the history so when you blank pages or posts all that you do is to make more work for other editors. Take care Doc ♬ talk 14:33, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
- Miamitom, it is completely unacceptable for you to be uncivil and make personal attacks on other editors, as you did at Talk:Vizcaya. See Wikipedia's civility policy and Wikipedia's No Personal Attacks policy for more information. Continued violations will get you blocked from editing Wikipedia. I really strongly suggest that you step back, take a while to look at other articles, learn the Wikimedia software (try the Wikipedia:Sandbox) and browse the manual of style and other guidelines (at least, How to edit a page). We all hope that you can learn how we do things and how to use our software so that there are fewer conflicts and you can contribute successfully. --Dhartung | Talk 11:34, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

Miamitom 13:07, 28 September 2006 (UTC) Thanks for writing to me [mysterious wikipedia person], I have no problem being cooperative and will leave things as they are.
I don't mind that you or some [mysterious wikipedia person] deleted my comments on that page, but you left the arrogant comments from the David user, which were very insulting, and I was not about to let his condescension and provincial arrogance stand.
Please delete also his remarks, which were especially condescending to those of us here in the US and Miami.
I do have a couple more photos to round out the Vizcaya Museum article and will attempt to upload or link them as best as possible.
Thanks Miamitom 13:07, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned public domain images
The following images were uploaded by you, but are currently not in use. They have been tagged as public domain (PD), either as PD-self or other PD claim, or equivilant. These unused PD images may be subject to deletion as orphans. You may wish to add them to an article, tag them for copying to WP commons {{Copy to Wikimedia Commons}} or if they are no longer needed, they can be nominated for deletion by following the easy three step process at Images and media for deletion. If you have any questions, please leave me a note on my talk page. --Gay Cdn (talk) (Contr.) 22:48, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
