Mezzani is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Parma in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 90 km northwest of Bologna and about 15 km northeast of Parma. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,053 and an area of 28.6 km2.[1]
The municipality of Mezzani contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Bocca d'Enza, Casale, Ghiare Bonvisi, Mezzano Inferiore, Mezzano Rondani, Mezzano Superiore, and Valle.
Mezzani borders the following municipalities: Brescello, Casalmaggiore, Colorno, Parma, Sorbolo, Torrile, Viadana.
