[edit] please stop
Please stop changing the formatting of the number-ones pages. If you're going to make big, sweeping changes to the page, discuss it on the Talk Page first. Number ones lists are set up in this format from 1940 to the present, for albums, R&B singles, dance singles and rock singles and also for various countries.... they all follow the same formatting. Thanks. -- eo 22:55, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Talk: El Salvador
Welcome!
Hello, Mewtwowimmer, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}}
on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!
I had one more suggestion for you. You posted the following message to Talk:El Salvador:
- I'm 13 years old, and I have a nanny who was born in San Rafael, Chalatenango, El Salvador. She's been with my family since my older brother was a few months old. User:Mewtwowimmer 8:28, 31 August 2006 (PCT)
It's great that you have decided to participate in Wikipedia's editing process. Someone with the intelligence you describe on your user page will surely be an asset. However, the message you left doesn't actually serve the purpose of the Talk page. The idea is to discuss ways to improve the article.
For example, if you and your nanny discuss the article and she thinks previous editors left out something important, then what you wrote would make a good introduction to saying, "She was surprised that the article doesn't mention ______. I haven't been successful finding a source to show that this event happened. Does anyone have a suggestion?" Incidentally, you might get her input and work on the articles related to Chalatenango Department in particular. Most of the articles on specific departments are pretty basic, and she might be able to suggest places you could look up on Google and turn into article material. I do that kind of thing with my husband, who is from Morazán.
Good luck! --Lawikitejana 03:56, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
- Update: I went back and looked at your contribution list ... WOW! You've done a lot of good updates already, especially for someone who's only been editing six weeks or so. Hope you don't take the "Welcome" message as an insult after all that work! Here's the wikilink for the article on the San Rafael municipality. It's just one sentence long, so any documentable material on San Rafael will be most helpful. --Lawikitejana 04:01, 18 September 2006 (UTC)

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to My Gym Partner's a Monkey. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Squirepants101 15:06, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, as you did to Ben 10, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Squirepants101 17:01, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
