Would whoever keeps adding Mona Vale as an end point please get their facts straight first? Metroad 7 has never run to Mona Vale - that's the role of Metroad 3. Rjbsmith 16:11, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

With Westlink M7 now open and Metroad 7 decommissioned (though the removal of signage seems to be happening slowly), does anyone know if the Cumberland Highway will be given a new route number? (Metroad or alphanumeric?). --Daveb 06:38, 4 January 2006 (UTC)

I don't think that it is correct to say that Metroad 7 has been decommissioned, because until a future link is built between the Hills Motorway and the Sydney - Newcastle Freeway, Pennant Hills Road will still be designated as Metroad 7. It would be more correct to say that the majority of the Metroad 7 has been decommissioned, or in the case of Carlingford to the M2, recommissioned as Metroad 6. Mdgr
