Talk:Metroad 2

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

No way mate!!!!!!!!!!!! This road was built with more lawyers than building workers. It united all the major political parties in New South Wales - they all hate it The final contract states that it cannot have any competition for 50years- so no railway It servers 200,000 people daily in Western Sydney And it is commonly known as the "Adult Baby sitter" - meaning you can meet someone have sex and watch the baby arrive whilst travellling from Lane Cove to Seven Hills - only 20 Km The M2 stops at Mowbray road and you sit and grind away till you get passed Lane Cove (3Ks) as they forgot to build a Tunnel. As Lane Cove is a Liberal seat The Labour Party refused to attend the opening - ask Bob Carr and now Bob the builder is connecting it to the M7 without widening the M2 - If you are a tow truck operator you will grow wealthy on the M2 It has two lanes up and two lanes down with a merging bus lane Crashes are an hourly event at the Epping Tunnel It is a joke of a road. So the article should stay as a lesson to all politicians in New South Wales and Australia on how not to represent the people Yes I have to travel it daily and I would welcome a quiet chat with the Liberal and the Labour Parties - I will even bring a few mates Europe may have had the Communists America may have George W Sydney has the M2 Anyone want a class A Number 1 group of sheep called the Australia Liberal Party and the Australia Labour Party?

[edit] Merging from M2 Hills Motorway (Sydney)

Careful, the Hills Motorway is only one part of Metroad 2. Metroad 2 also includes:

[edit] Hills Motorway

Reading this article it is structured such that it sounds as though the motorway is the only part of Metroad 2 Cartman02au 11:36, 1 December 2005 (UTC)

Perhaps this page could be broken into the three sections of Metroad 2, those being the CBD to the Hills Motorway, The Hills Motorway and the final section of Old Windsor and Windsor Roads. As has been stated by others, this page seems to make the same mistake made by many that Metroad 2 IS the Hills Motorway.

Also, on a somewhat pedantic note, the Hills Motorway does not pass through Winston Hills; the border between Baulkham Hills and Winston Hills runs along Boundry Road to the M2's direct south. (admittedly, Parramatta council has made some noises about having the municipal border moved to the middle of the Hills Motorway.) (Mdgr 11:22, 29 April 2006 (UTC))
