Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference

The Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference is an athletic conference based in Central and West Central Indiana. Teams from eight Indiana high schools compete in a variety of interscholastic athletic sports.
The conference was formed in 1996. The original six members in the conference were Ben Davis High School, Carmel High School, Center Grove High School, Lawrence North High School, and North Central High School. In 1997, Terre Haute North Vigo High School and Terre Haute South Vigo High School joined the conference.
