Metro Claremont is a football (soccer) club formed in 1941 in the northern suburb of Claremont, Hobart, Tasmania. It has range of teams for all ages and genders playing in competitions run by the Football Federation Tasmania. It's teams range from under 7's right through to seniors. The teams colours are yellow and blue.
It's home ground is North Chigwell.
Recently a Metro Claremont junior composite side faced a Gippsland Academy team over two games at North Chigwell. The first played on October, 13 was won by Metro 8-2. On October, 15 Gippsland prevailed 2-1 in a hard fought game. Gippsland were so impressed with Metro they invited them to Gippsland in March 2007.
