MetalPhantomon is a fictional character in the Digimon franchise. He is an Ultimate Level Cyborg Digimon, and one of the many Digimon to be portrayed as a holder of the X-Antibody.

In Digimon Savers, MetalPhantomon had the ability to induce nightmares and manipulate objects with the electric field connecting his limbs.

During their mission in the Digital World, the members of DATS were captured by MetalPhantomon's minions, a swarm of Dokugumon. He then attempted to subject the humans to nightmares, and then feed off of their despair. However, this proved to be his undoing, when Tohma, who had been forced to relive his mother's death at MetalPhantomon's hands, broke free. Tohma triggered the activation of his empowered Digi Soul, which allowed Gaomon to become his Ultimate form, MachGaogamon, who battled and destroyed MetalPhantomon.

MetalPhantomon was the so-called "God of Death" who brought the series' protagonists to the Digital World to serve him. He forced the boys Teru and Masuken to serve him through brainwashing, and would later steal the Dragon Spirit belonging to Dorumon in order to revive an ancient digimon called Dexmon. Unfortunately, Dexmon himself would turn on MetalPhantomon, and absorbed him.
