Metabee

Metabee (whose name is an abbreviation of Metal Beetle) is the Medabot belonging to Ikki Tenryou in the anime Medabots. Metabee is an old outdated Hercules Beetle type (or KBT-11220 type) Medabot. He possesses the rare Kabuto type medal that allows him to use the Medaforce. Metabee is known to be quite aggressive and stubborn, and often messes up due to his hotheaded hyperactivity. He is often disobedient to his owner Ikki Tenryou, but he shares a close bond with him, and so Ikki trusts him deeply.

Metabee is fundamentally a shooting Medabot, specialising in revolver tactics. Attack abilities include:

• Two fast paced laser cannons imbedded his left arm.
• One slower, but more powerful laser cannon imbedded on his right arm.
• His special attack is Seeker missiles; they are standard heat seeker missiles and are launched from the two horns on his head. This is generally a finisher move.

The Phantom Renegade stole the rare medal that would later belong to Metabee, however shortly after stealing it he dropped it into the river and Ikki found it the next day and put it into a cheap KBT type body. The medal is a Kabuto type, specialising in laser cannon attacks. Metabee's medal also possesses the rare power to summon the Medaforce. In the second season, Metabee was heavily updated, earning new weapons that improved his battle abilities.
Action Mode: In this form, Metabee displays wheels in both hands and heels, changing to a four-legged position and replacing his bipedal movement with tire movement. The most benefitted stat is speed.
Blast Mode: In this form, Metabee becomes a full weapon with less movement, but more fire power. It changes to four-legged movement too. His head is replaced by a front cannon (resembling a beetle horn).
