Open Cluster M38 (also known as Messier Object 38, Messier 38, M38, or NGC 1912) is an open cluster in the Auriga constellation.
It was discovered by Giovanni Batista Hodierna before 1654 and independently found by Le Gentil in 1749. M38 is at a distance of about 4,200 light years away from Earth.
