Mérida → Merida – disambiguation page belongs at generalized English alphabet spelling; "Merida" is correct for all listings, Mérida is not. Gene Nygaard 00:26, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Survey
- Oppose Mérida (with an accent) is by far the most searched form, and most articles on that disambiguation page refer to cities named "Mérida". --Húsönd 22:34, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

- Comment I doubt very much that anything other than "Merida" is the most searched, especially by English speakers, but it doesn't matter because the redirect exists, no matter which one occupies the one slot available for the article name. But "Mérida" is not correct for "Merida (Dragon Prince)" nor for "Merida Bicycle Company", whereas "Merida" is the correct English alphabet spelling of "Mérida, Yucatán" or "Mérida, Mérida" or whatever. 66.97.235.48 22:51, 1 September 2006 (UTC) Me, wasn't logged in.
