Wow! Fantastic story! And yet no talk page until it got the featured tag... congrats guys/girls :-) - Ta bu shi da yu 06:22, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Cheesy photo, though. If only we knew someone on Wikipedia with a 6.9. Lucky?

I don't get it. That photo is classy, not cheesy. --timc | Talk 12:27, 30 Nov 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Wording needs fixed

Hey! Really neat article, but one bit I can't fix: "Daimler-Benz agreed in turn, and Yates was given a US-spec 6.9 to drive from Manhattan all the race track for a full 40 laps or just over 100 miles (160 km)." It doesn't really make sense, and there's not enough info there to make it make sense either.

Was it driven from Manhattan to Atlanta (mentioned later) then around a race track?

  • Yup. Quite a story, too. Talk about fun!! :^) - Lucky 6.9 04:00, 31 Dec 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Specifications subpage

I'd like to recommend moving Mercedes-Benz 6.9 Specifications to /Specifications. Any ideas? If I don't hear back in a few days, I'll probably just move it myself. --Milkmandan 06:14, 2005 Feb 25 (UTC)
