The Merseyside Hospitals Radio Network is known as M.H.R.N. It has been broadcasting full match commentaries from Anfield (Liverpool F.C.) and Goodison Park (Everton F.C.) since October 1952. This is a purely voluntary service. The service was extended some years ago to provide a linked commentary to blind and partially sighted supporters of both clubs. This service is managed by the Network on behalf of the football clubs. The present Chairman is Alan Myers, and past Chairmen include Ken Head, Joe Palmer and Ken Martin.
