Anchored by the Tesco supermarket, the Merrion Centre in Dublin, Ireland is a shopping centre situated at the north junction of Nutley Lane with Merrion Road. The Japanese embassy is located in the centre. This area has long been the site of local flooding. A free underground carpark is provided, with about half the spaces reserved for workers in the offices also located in the building.
As of 2006, the centre also includes, amongst others, a Peter Mark hairdresser, a pharmacy, a newsagent (The Nutley), florist, opticians, and a small hardware shop.
The Tony Walsh pharmacy was used in the 2003 movie Intermission, but filmed to look as if it were outdoors.
In April 2005, Tesco Merrion began opening 24 Hours during weekdays and opening later on weekends.
