Merlara is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Padua in the Italian region Veneto, located about 80 km southwest of Venice and about 45 km southwest of Padua. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,980 and an area of 21.4 km2.[1]
Merlara borders the following municipalities: Casale di Scodosia, Castelbaldo, Masi, Piacenza d'Adige, Terrazzo, Urbana.
