Mercersburg Theology
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A German-American theological movement begun in the mid-1800s that is often seen as a reaction to the Revivalism of the same era. It draws its name from Mercersburg, Pennsylvania, home of Marshall College from 1836 until its merger with Franklin College(Lancaster, Pennsylvania) in 1853.
