The W112 "Fintail" (German: Heckflosse) was Mercedes-Benz's line of six-cylinder luxury cars in the mid-1960s. Three models were produced, the 300SE sedan, coupé and convertible of 1961 and the 300SEL sedan one year later. These replaced the famed W189 Type 300 cars. The W112 was related to the lower W110 and W111 models and lasted just a few years. The ultra-luxury W100 limousine series effectively removed the market for this model.
