The Mercedes-Benz MB100 is a small commercial motor vehicle made by Mercedes-Benz from the transporter range. It exists in different versions (e.g. box car, van, bus (all around glassed) and live-mobilely).
The vehicle was with only one engine, the 2,4-Diesel with 72 HP, last 75 HP, like it also in the Mercedes Benz (truck) 207D was used, available. Production took place in the year 1981 bought up work Vitoria in Spain. In 1992 the MB100 was revised. Outward distinguishing feature was now the diagonally running radiator portion. The extended front portion should increase among other things the passive security of the vehicle.
In Germany the MB100 was offered downward from 1988 to 1995 as rounding of the commercial motor vehicle program of Daimler-Benz.
Competitors were the Volkswagen Transporter and the Ford Transit, successor were the Mercedes-Benz Vito.
