Gloria Victis by Antonin Mercié: lightened version. With apologies to the creator of the original image, I felt it was just too dark and so I've taken the liberty of adjusting it for clarity. It was also slightly crooked so I've rotated it a couple of degrees; this also entailed cloning some of the background at the edges, which you may notice if you look closely...
