I reverted an edit that replaced the bottom of the article with this:

meningie is home to the MENINGIE BEARS football club. Meningies football team has been around for over 100 years and has been home to many brilliant players. The most recent is Danyle pearce from port power played in an under 12's premiership team. meningie has has had 3 mail medalists, David McKechnie, Kym white and the great wayne sanders whos illustrius career involved coaching A grade at the age of 17 and coaching the association team at just 18. Unfortunatly wayne recently passed away and a trophy at the club has been named after him, The Wayne Sanders best under 21 player. This trophy was awarded to chris lawson for the 2006 season. Meningie has brewed some wonderful jumior teams winning alot of premierships and producing some good juniors. it is a club with a rich history and a bright future.

Maybe someone else can salvage something useful? --Scott Davis Talk 13:42, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
