Menlo College (founded 1927) is a four-year liberal arts college in Atherton, California.
The sprawling campus is on the border of affulent Atherton and Menlo Park, and is adjacent to its former partner institution, Menlo School.
In 1927, the college program became a separate junior college from Menlo School and continues to share the same campus. But over time, the two institutions drifted apart, so that they now have completely separate administrations, faculties, classrooms, and libraries (the final formal split occurred on June 30, 1994). Today, they share only athletic facilities and the dining hall.
