Wikithanks to you for answering my question on the reference desk for language! Even Wikipedians who have been around for a while have questions. Image:WikiThanks.png --Gray Porpoise 18:04, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Technical question about your answer on the Ref Desk

Hi there! I was browsing the ref desk and came across this: Wikipedia:Reference desk/Miscellaneous#Raw Spinach and your teeth. My question: is there a trick to searching the Ref Desk archives? Or do you just know all the ref desk history by heart? Any tips you could provide would be greatly appreciated! Thanks :) — QuantumEleven 08:16, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

Aah - I see! Well, you memory is impressive ;-)
In case it may prove useful, I tinkered around with Google for a bit, and I think that you can get it to search only the Ref Desk archives by adding site:en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Reference_desk_archive to the search, for instance: [1]. It seems to work.
Thanks again for the tip! — QuantumEleven 12:00, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Place name in Nepal -- thanks!

Thanks for your response (to my query on the Reference Desk) - - it's pretty far off phonologically, but offers another alternative suggestion. I'll update if/when I get a confirmed answer. -- Deborahjay 15:26, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
